SHIPPING POLICY

1. Order Processing & Dispatch Timelines

At Vaire, we strive to ensure that every order is processed and dispatched with utmost care and attention to quality.

Ready-to-Ship Products

Products marked as "Ready to Ship" shall be dispatched within 3–5 Business Days from the date of order confirmation.

Made-to-Order Products

Products marked as "Made to Order" are manufactured specifically for each customer and shall ordinarily be dispatched within 30 Business Days from the date of order confirmation.

2. Calculation of Business Days

For the purpose of calculating dispatch timelines:

  • The date on which the order is placed shall not be counted.

  • The count shall commence from the next Business Day following the date of order placement.

  • Saturdays and Sundays shall not be considered Business Days.

  • National holidays, state holidays, bank holidays, government-declared holidays, force majeure events, or any day on which normal business operations are disrupted shall not be considered Business Days.

  • Any day during which manufacturing units, processing facilities, logistics partners, or essential service providers are not operational due to circumstances beyond reasonable control shall also be excluded from the calculation of Business Days.

Example

If an order is placed on Monday:

  • Monday shall not be counted.

  • Counting shall commence from Tuesday.

If an order is placed on Friday:

  • Friday shall not be counted.

  • Saturday and Sunday shall not be counted.

  • Counting shall commence from Monday (or the next operational Business Day).

3. Festival Season & Industry-Wide Delays

The apparel and textile industry experiences significant operational challenges during major festival periods due to:

  • Migration of skilled workers and artisans to their native places;

  • Reduced workforce availability across manufacturing units;

  • Increased pressure on dyeing, processing, embroidery, stitching, and finishing facilities;

  • Industry-wide production bottlenecks and capacity constraints.

Accordingly, during festival seasons and other peak periods, dispatch timelines for Made-to-Order Products only may be extended from the standard 30 Business Days to 45–60 Business Days, depending upon production and operational conditions.

Such extensions shall not be considered a delay, deficiency of service, breach of contract, or grounds for cancellation, refund, chargeback, or compensation, provided the order continues to remain under active production.

4. Delivery Timelines

Once dispatched, delivery timelines depend upon the courier partner, destination location, weather conditions, transportation networks, regulatory restrictions, and other factors beyond our control.

Estimated delivery dates provided at checkout or by courier partners are indicative only and shall not constitute a guaranteed delivery commitment.

5. Force Majeure

Vaire shall not be liable for any delay in dispatch or delivery arising due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters;

  • Floods, earthquakes, storms, or pandemics;

  • Government restrictions or lockdowns;

  • Labour shortages;

  • Transport disruptions;

  • Strikes or industrial disputes;

  • Utility outages;

  • Supply chain disruptions;

  • Any other force majeure event.

In such circumstances, dispatch timelines may be reasonably extended.

6. Customer Acknowledgement

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the dispatch timelines applicable to the purchased product category and accepts that Business Days shall be calculated in accordance with this Shipping Policy.

7. Express Dispatch Option for Made-to-Order Products

For certain Made-to-Order products, customers may be offered an optional Express Dispatch / Express Shipping service at checkout.

Customers are advised that selecting Express Dispatch or paying any additional express shipping charges does not reduce, shorten, or alter the production, manufacturing, stitching, processing, quality control, or dispatch timeline applicable to Made-to-Order products.

All Made-to-Order products shall continue to be subject to the standard production timeline of 30 Business Days, or such extended timeline as may be applicable during festival seasons, peak demand periods, labour shortages, force majeure events, or other circumstances disclosed in this Shipping Policy.

The Express Dispatch option only affects the mode of transportation after the order has been manufactured, completed, quality-checked, and dispatched. Once dispatched, the shipment may be transported through a priority or express courier service, which may result in a comparatively faster transit time than standard shipping.

Accordingly:

  • Express Dispatch does not mean priority production.

  • Express Dispatch does not mean priority manufacturing.

  • Express Dispatch does not guarantee earlier completion of the product.

  • Express Dispatch only applies to the shipping method used after dispatch.

By selecting the Express Dispatch option, the customer acknowledges and agrees that the production timeline remains unchanged and that any additional fee paid is solely for the courier service utilized after dispatch.
